From Firefox 3 Beta4, some Extensions which causes firefox to crash are blocked by default. You will be informed that it is
disabled for your protection.
If you are sure that the extension will not cause Firefox to crash, here is how to enable that blocked extension. It is
simple; editing of a single xml file.
In the run prompt, enter %appdata% and press OK
Navigate to Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\rvox9nsf.default
A file named blocklist.xml will be located in the directory. We have to edit blocklist.xml to re-enable the blocked Firefox
extensions.
Open blocklist.xml in any text editing program; I here use Wordpad.
Each blocked item will be between
extension.
